2025 CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS COMPETITION OPEN FOR ENTRIES

July 1 2025

Student innovators have the chance to win a share of £16,500 plus mentoring as the latest EIBF Champion of Champions Competition opens for entries.

Now in its seventh year, the competition sees university students showcase their problem-solving innovations to industry experts in a bid to win a series of prizes.

Teams are able to enter now.

The event, held at the Royal Academy of Engineering in London in November, is the culmination of 50 individual university competitions, which have been supported by registered charity EIBF.

To be eligible for the Champion of Champions Competition, teams only need to have competed in their university competition, not necessarily to have won it.

This year’s finalists will compete to win a share of a £16,500 prize pot.

Finalists have a chance to win:

  • £5,000 and a mentor (Enterprise Award)
  • £3,000 and a mentor (Big Ideas winner)
  • £3,000 and a mentor (Startup winner)
  • £1,500 (Big Ideas runner-up)
