MSc Entrepreneurship Pitch Day: Innovating Engineers Challenge

The MSc Entrepreneurship Pitch Day competition fosters small teams of MSc Entrepreneurship and other UCL Engineering students to create innovative business ideas. Held annually, the competition concludes with a pitch and showcase event, evaluated by an independent panel. Three nominations are awarded: Best Idea, Best Pitch, and Best Showcase.  Two of these prizes, Best Ideas and Best Pitch received Engineers in Business awards.

Best Idea Winner: Swyftin- SaaS for Hospitality

Swyftin is a guest experience platform that helps hotels to improve their revenue by communicating efficiently with guests.

Best Idea Winner: Genz - Co-Living Platform

Lola’s innovation, Genz, is an intergenerational co-living platform matching lonely elders who have a spare room with young professionals and students.

Best Pitch Winner: eNOugh - Safety Wearables

eNOugh solves the problem of lack of safety for women walking alone at night with an AI-powered wearable badge.

Positive feedback

Engineers in Business Prize fund creates a valuable opportunity for our young entrepreneurs to start-up their business ideas before they graduate and go on to pitch their businesses elsewhere. The new mentorship opportunity adds another layer of support and further learning opportunities for them. We are all very excited to be working with EIBC again this year.
